Josh Katzenmeyer is a digital artist who creates minimalist abstracted landscapes and collages with code. By exploring archetypal shapes, Katzenmeyer gives rise to compositions where essential patterns blend with reminiscences from Futurism, Bauhaus and Suprematism. His creations generate a place where different past traditions are skilfully merged with new perspectives triggered by technology.

As a digital artist I assemble abstracted landscapes and collages with code. My work uses minimalist configurations of two-dimensional shapes and lines to construct otherworldly pieces with deceptive depth. Much of my art relies on procedural and generative processes: because of this, the final output is often surprising and heavily informed by the technologies beneath it.
